About Us

A Cameroonian association born from a simple conviction: research and solidarity can turn an environmental problem into a social opportunity.

Overview

Association for Research and Development of Ecological Plastic Waste Transformation Techniques

ARDTTEMP partners with communities to reduce the impact of plastic waste on the environment. We promote and popularize transformation practices among entrepreneurs, and we support communities directly affected by plastic pollution.

Our approach is rooted in applied research: every transformation technique we promote — PET flakes, eco-friendly paving stones and tiles — has been designed to be locally reproducible and to generate sustainable income.

Our history

A long way traveled since 2024

Founded in 2024, ARDTTEMP has since come a long way, gradually structuring its actions around collection, transformation and social support.

2024

Founding of the association

ARDTTEMP was born in Yaoundé, built around a mission of research and ecological transformation of plastic materials.

2024

Launch of systematic collection drives

Regular collection operations for used plastic bags began, enabling them to be cleaned and put back into circulation.

2024 – 2025

Rollout of "One Youth, One Diploma"

Support for young single mothers toward the CEPE, BEPC, Probatoire and Baccalauréat in the Centre, East and Adamawa regions.

2025 – 2026

Structuring the value chain

Strengthened support for actors in the plastic waste valorization chain, along with growth in PET flake and eco-paving production.
