Our Activities
From plastic waste collection to socio-educational inclusion, each of our actions is part of the same value and solidarity chain.
Systematic collection operations
ARDTTEMP organizes systematic collection operations for used plastic bags and waste in neighborhoods and markets. This fieldwork is paired with awareness campaigns for households on proper sorting practices.
Once collected, bags are cleaned and put back into circulation, favoring reuse over landfilling or incineration.
From PET to flakes, from plastic to paving stones
At the heart of our approach is turning waste into resources. PET bottles are crushed into flakes, a raw material in demand by the local recycling industry.
Other plastic waste is transformed into eco-friendly paving stones and tiles — a technique that allows the association to gradually build its operating budget while offering a concrete outlet for local plastic pollution.
One Youth, One Diploma
This flagship project supports young single mothers in earning their diplomas: CEPE, BEPC, Probatoire and Baccalauréat. It is deployed across three regions of Cameroon — Centre, East and Adamawa — and combines academic support, material assistance and personalized follow-up.
By removing financial and social barriers to schooling, ARDTTEMP gives these young women the means to build a more independent future for themselves and their children.
Unconditional support
ARDTTEMP unconditionally supports elderly people, under-schooled women, and orphaned or needy children. This support takes the form of material assistance, referrals to relevant social structures, and lasting moral support.
This social dimension is inseparable from our environmental action: the communities most exposed to plastic pollution are often those with the fewest resources to protect themselves from it.
Value chain
Strong support for recycling actors
Beyond its own operations, ARDTTEMP provides substantial support to the various actors in the plastic waste valorization chain: independent collectors, small transformation units, and eco-paving artisans.

Local impact
Revenue generated funds our social programs and the association's operations.
